Hi there, I feel privileged to have my online business positioned in the ever expanding Personal Development industry. As a bonus, my business affords me the flexibility & freedom to live & work wherever I choose.
So I'M GILLIAN, I was born & grew up in Ireland, Studied in the UK & I have worked in the UK, Middle East & Australia. These opportunities have ignited my passion for travel, with places like India, Oman & Turkey (to name just a few) stealing a piece of my heart.
I love having the opportunity to work with and facilitate the journey & growth of those who, like myself, are driven to take responsibility, create success, flexibility & freedom for themselves. It's important to note here,that we may all have different reasons 'why' or 'Drive' for wanting to achieve success, and thats totally fine, but our commonality is our commitment to create the life we choose.
Choosing Our Own Unique Reality!
This was me at the top of Kilimanjaro. It was an amazing challenge & experience. Always push the limits you think you have.
I love taking photos, so I took the opportunity to practice on a recent trip to Thailand.
A taste of the life I choose right now. With the freedom & flexibility to work my business from home & on my clock.
I had a fab time hanging out the leaders within our business in Phuket, Thailand. Surrounding yourself with likeminded people is a recipe for success.
My life as I knew it: I have been a nurse for 18 years and I have enjoyed the challenges & experiences along the way. Specialising in Cardiac Care - meeting, caring for & being inspired by people who have battled, overcome or been defeated by huge health challenges has been a gift. This, coupled with the fact that I have loved & lost loved ones in recent times has made me acutely aware that life is short & I want to live life on my terms.
The journey that led me here: I had been home to Ireland for christmas, spent some time with family, but of course, I didn't feel like it was enough. I was at the mercy of a roster, annual leave & had night shift awaiting me on my return home to Aus. This plus the reality that family are getting older, my niece & nephews are growing too quickly and really just wanting the flexibility to be home if/when I wanted or was needed without compromising my financial security. It was at this time I found this online business.
Powerful influences in my life: I've been on my own journey of self discovery & growth for many years now. I've attended workshops, I started a yoga training course to learn the philosophy & better understand my practice & of course I have read lots of books. 'The Alchemist', 'Think & Grow Rich', 'Feel the fear and do it anyway' are some favourites. In more recent times I have found great value in David Goggins' book 'You can't hurt me' and the concept of having/building belief in yourself. I had never had a desire to run until now but I used it as a metaphor for other goals I wanted to achieve and so I started to run. It reinforced and strengthened the belief in myself because with each milestone in running I achieved and saw changes/improvements, then I could see how this is true in all areas of my life.
Why I 'hung my hat' here within this business? I think the sequence of life events & experiences had definitely contributed to me reaching the point where I was wanting to take full responsibility for my future. Finding this business within the Personal Development industry & using the award winning products myself reassured me that this is a product line I could really get behind. Being able to utilise this ever expanding global online market just makes sense. Having access to a wealth of experience, knowledge & other entrepreneurs who are achieving success for themselves & who continue to support their peers to achieve their full potential also, is just outstanding.
